Etica del risparmio e sviluppo
Il Forum Terzo Settore in occasione della Giornata mondiale del risparmio ha emesso un comunicato stampa che riportiamo:

Si è svolta questa mattina a Roma la 94esima Giornata mondiale del risparmio, organizzata annualmente da Acri, l’associazione delle Fondazioni di origine bancaria, al centro il tema “Etica del risparmio e sviluppo”.
“Abbiamo apprezzato la relazione del presidente Giuseppe Guzzetti – dichiara la Portavoce del Forum Claudia Fiaschi – per la sua lucida e profonda analisi del rapporto che deve esistere tra etica ed economia, necessario per costruire un futuro più sostenibile ed inclusivo”.
“In un contesto che vede aumentare gli squilibri economici e sociali, la crescita delle disuguaglianze, delle emarginazioni e della povertà – prosegue Fiaschi – è importante il monito che il presidente Guzzetti ha rivolto alle forze economiche e alla politica per recuperare una funzione etica della finanza, capace non solo di guardare ai decimali di Pil ma anche e soprattutto al benessere dei cittadini e delle comunità, con un respiro a lungo termine, per produrre crescita sostenibile e stabilità del Paese.”
Importante anche l’attenzione per uno dei problemi emergenti, quello del futuro dei giovani. Dobbiamo aiutarli a rimanere in Italia e con una prospettiva dignitosa di futuro. Sono i giovani che hanno maggiore interesse a uno sviluppo etico e sostenibile, non possiamo rinunciare al loro protagonismo nel cambiamento sociale.”
“Sono tante – continua Fiaschi – le sfide importanti alle quali la collaborazione tra le Fondazioni di origine bancaria ed il Forum del Terzo Settore cerca di dare risposte, sperimentando soluzioni nuove alle priorità sociali emergenti e la relazione del presidente Guzzetti ha dato ampio spazio alla collaborazione con il mondo del terzo settore.”
Nel corso della mattinata è stata presentata l’indagine sugli Italiani e il Risparmio, realizzata ogni anno da Acri con Ipsos, che ha evidenziato un dato importante: nonostante gli effetti della crisi economica la propensione degli italiani verso il risparmio rimane molto forte, ed è cresciuto il valore sociale attribuito al risparmio. I nostri cittadini sentono il bisogno di compiere scelte sempre più attenti e responsabili per il proprio futuro e per quello sociale e civile del Paese.
Al termine dei lavori, l’intervento del Ministro Tria ha confermato, per un altro triennio, il finanziamento del Fondo per il contrasto della povertà educativa minorile, alimentato dalle Fondazioni di origine bancaria e nato tre anni fa da uno sforzo congiunto con il Governo e con il Forum del Terzo Settore. “Una notizia che accogliamo con grande soddisfazione – conclude Claudia Fiaschi –. Il Terzo settore è impegnato da sempre in attività con i minori, per contrastare innanzi tutto il fenomeno della povertà educativa che raggiunge livelli gravissimi, con oltre 1 milione e 200 mila minori in condizione di povertà assoluta. Rifinanziare il Fondo è una scelta importante ed è una di quelle ‘azioni etiche’ che possono garantirci un futuro più sostenibile.”
