È stato l’uomo politico che più ha tenuto prossime le proprie convinzioni con le proprie responsabilità.

Ha attraversato i deserti e le oasi delle contraddizioni vivendole. Portatore di speranze collettive e intimamente disperato. Nessun uomo può reggere il destino di Sisifo nemmeno Alex lo ha retto.

La società dei diritti e delle magnifiche sorti progressive ricordava Langer è una nave immensa costruita col legname della Amazzonia. Ogni diritto costa un sacrificio ….cambiare rotta non fu solo uno slogan, sta per diventare una necessita.

La pace non è assenza di tensioni. Questa è finta pace. La pace è convivenza interetnica con tensioni da accordare poiché suoni e indichi delle frieden schliessen delle partiture di pace. Noi siamo intersoggettivi. Plurali e singolari. Quante più lingue parliamo e tanti più io siamo . 

La conversione ecologica della società è più completa e profonda della transizione. Questa ultima è essenzialmente tecnopratica la prima appartiene ad ognuno di Noi.

Agire è decidere, ma soprattutto, significa dare inizio a qualcosa che non c’era…le azioni dunque sono essenziali per la vita della democrazia. Altrimenti scivola nelle penose vesti oligarchiche della nostra attualità.

La nonviolenza parte da come ti approcci agli altri. Alex teneva insieme  l’essere paritario dei diritti con la romantica filantropia del suo essere cristiano mariano. In ognuno di noi c’è tanto e va scoperto portato alla luce. Alex lo faceva.

l’Europa della Heimat e non della Vaterland . Dello spirito e non del tifo nazionale morì a Sarajevo 1995. La guerra fratricida dilaniò la Jugoslavia storica e certificò l’assenza di anima dell’Europa delle Vaterland.

Siamo fraudolenti con la natura. Ogni anno divoriamo sempre prima le risorse a disposizione…cambiare rotta conversione ecologica vie di pace 

Langer era nato a Sterzing/Vipiteno nel 1946….piccolo paesino del Sudtirol…ma era al tempo stesso un cosmopolita. Un vero glocal.

Grande nuotatore non amava i salotti né li frequentava. Uomo libero e solo nelle sue arrampicate per aprire vie nuove di pace era il Coppi del secondo Novecento. 

La Sua lotta contro la nostra stupidità inesorabile fu commovente. Ricordo alcune sue relazioni all’università di Bologna. Non si rassegnava alla nostra rinuncia alla ragione. E aggiungo al cuore .

Se non c’è capacità di giudizio non c’è pensiero e si diventa automi esecutori e complici del disastro ecologico e umanitario in atto da decenni.

Interclassismo…cosa significa come critica a Langer? Nulla. Se non si parte dai propri limiti dalla accettazione di questi e dal proprio agire locale non si potrà mai pensare globalmente. 

L’aborto non è un crimine, anzi è un diritto, ma non è nemmeno una azione come qualsiasi altra …gli studi più recenti stanno facendo emergere aspetti sconosciuti della vita fetale. 

L’allargamento dei confini delle nostre vite avviene al prezzo della crisi ecologica…un paradosso o forse un ossimoro su cui riflettere. 

Langer visse fino in fondo il dissidio tra ciò che si proclama e ciò che si riesce a compiere

Costruttore di ponti fin da ragazzino con la rivista “Die  Brücke”- “Il Ponte” appunto ci credette sempre.

San Cristoforo il suo antiCaronte. Il traghettatore.

Scriveva benissimo con chiarezza eleganza e profondità. Segni evidenti di uno spirito libero , di uno stile originale con uso di ” parole sue” tratto distintivo dei grandi scrittori e pensatori.

Continuare in ciò che era ed è giusto significa anche scavare nella miniera del suo animo gentile e leggero per quanto tenace per capire e fare emergere sensi ancora nascosti.

Invidiato quanto amato Langer aveva anche origini ebraiche e viennesi. Il suo senso della Storia le fa sentire. Occorre inveramento ma senza ideologismi e forzature…messianismo di Alex. 

Aveva qualcosa di poetico e di profetico… Soprattutto il suo vivere lo rendeva unico e autentico. Perciò ascoltandolo a Bologna per le elezioni Europee del 1989 mi si apri ulteriormente un mondo e convintamente lo votai.

Sono passati trent’anni dalla tua scelta Alex. La violenza contro di te e su di te tu che eri nonviolento…le tue idee sono sempre più vere i problemi sempre più urgenti il mondo che avremmo voluto lasciare in eredità è stato in grande parte degradato e dissipato. Spes contra spem. Unsere letze Offnung.( Nostra ultima speranza).
